Update on the Living Stones project is as follows.-

Phase 1
Stonework repair – completed.
Phase 2
Drainage, WC, flower arranging, refreshment & welcoming area,
South door disabled access – due to complete by end May.
Phase 3 Tower
& West door entrance plus damaged pipe organ removal
Phase 4
Worship and music area
Phase 5
Heating survey / upgrade.
Progress
update
Phase two of
the project comprising Mains drainage, WC, flower arranging
area, crèche, welcoming area, refreshment facilities and South
door disabled access work is now well underway. Groundwork is
virtually complete and the internal work is scheduled to be
completed by the end of May.
Phase three
of the of the project comprising Tower & West door entrance
refurbishment plus damaged pipe organ removal is in the final
planning phase with the faculty application imminent. Work
should start in the autumn.
Phase four of
the project comprising the worship and music area and
installation of an electronic organ will be finalised in the
autumn following removal of the pipe organ. Work should start in
the New Year.
Finances
The money
required for phase two and three has been raised and further
fundraising and grant applications will be required to complete
phases four and five. It is estimated that a further £30000 will
be required to bring the project to a conclusion. It should be
noted that the scope of the project has grown to include the
organ replacement and heating upgrade since the project was
launched.

Churches Trust application has been submitted and acknowledged.
Bridge
Wardens Trust application for Organ replacement has been
submitted.
